Doused heavily in sexual fervour, ‘Play By Play’ hits hard from the off. Possessing a croon that rivals How To Dress Well’s Tom Krell in the white boy soul stakes, Ashin throws his voice full pelt across the song’s clattering R&B clicks and clattering drums. The delivery so powerful and sassy, it no doubt will result in the popping of many a bra strap.
