London-based indie The Sounds Of Sweet Nothing must be considered one of the breakthrough labels of 2011, in our humble opinions at least, putting out the likes of Gross Magic, Jewellers and Halls.
Au Palais were another great act on the label, with Tender Mercy dropping during this period also. Luckily, news that the group have been hard at work on a follow-up mean that the label aren’t resting on their laurels.
Here’s a charming cover of Lee Hazlewood & Nancy Sinatra’s original hit, courtesy of the LDN-via-Toronto pair.
