Following the release of ‘Cocoon’ and their Night Drive EP Alpines are back with expansive, glacial number in new single ‘Empire’. Finding itself in the same sleek, dramatic pop territory as its predecessors ‘Empire’ is carried on a wave of smooth, stentorian vocals and sparse percussion. Catherine Pockson and Bob Matthews, the South London duo behind the Alpines moniker, will release their new track on 11 June.
