Nineteen-year-old Gothenburg artist Adna shares “Night”, a dark cut off her forthcoming debut LP release.
Adna Kadic’s relocation to Berlin almost visibly shows in her music; “Night” is one to wallow with in bitter snowstorms in grey cities, not the shimmering pop that her native Sweden is so prolific at producing.
The track exists on the grandest of stages, transmitting deeply personal tales with booming vocals that sound like they were recorded in cathedrals.
It’s melancholy to its core, but doesn’t come without hope, and brings with it a great deal of promise. We can’t wait for the new album, out 5 February via Despotz Records.
