Listen: 1987 – Ocean

One half of Montauk, the Swedish duo responsible for the songwriting and production behind Best Fit Recordings‘ own Faye and Sportsman, Victor Holmberg recently moved to London to embark on a series of new projects, most notably, new solo outing 1987.

Penned in the winter of 2012, ‘Ocean’ is a bombastic paean to Holmberg’s influences that, although sung entirely in Swedish, carries enough emotional weight to sound entirely universal.
