The new track is taken from upcoming record Half-Hung.
Singer and multi-instrumentalist James Bishop is making melodic indie that sits somewhere between Broken Social Scene and Connan Mockasin. On latest offering “Walkathon” guitars chime in a sparse sonic landscape whilst Bishop's hushed tones add a mesmerizing layer to a dreamy soundscape.
If one has the patience there are plenty of interesting elements to be discovered below the surface of this song. It may take a few listens but definitely worth the trip.
Half-Hung is out 2 February 2018 via Broken Circles.
