Find sanctuary in London-based artist Lex Low's falsetto-led reflective new single "Temple"
From the heart of Shoreditch, Lex Low once again proves you can do it all yourself, taking the role of singer, songwriter and producer on "Temple".
On his latest release, Lex Low explores his sound, reaching new highs through summer-ready spine-tingling synths and a hook that looks nowhere but falsetto to deliver an impact. With its hazy sun-kissed glow, "Temple" helps Low share an important message with ease, that message? To accept and ask for help when you need it.
""Temple" is my way of dealing with the realisation that sometimes you don’t have all the tools to help yourself in a particular moment" he explains. "Sometimes you need another person to help pull you out of a slump. I wanted to express that asking someone for help isn’t a sign of weakness" he adds, "it can be a beautiful necessity; one that helps you grow and develop a deeper relationship with both yourself and the other person.”
Low is constantly collaborating and working on self-improvement, either battling through on his own or reaching out for help and guidance from others. However, "Temple" is proof that sometimes a nod of reassurance is all you need.
