Leanne Robinson enchants with subtle soul and R&B on the trailing "Last Time (Change Your Mind)"
Driven by her theatre background, London's Leanne Robinson breaks out of the drama to allow her voice to find its home on the soulful, R&B infused "Last Time (Change Your Mind)".
You might not have heard of Leanne Robinson, or maybe it rings a bell as the stage-singer takes a step back after her lead role in The Book Of Mormon after its US/Canadian National Tour and time in London's West End.
The BRIT School graduate has turned her focus towards her music career, which is where her first track "Last Time (Change Your Mind)" comes in.
Built on a subtle electronica beat provided by Fla.mingo, Robinson slowly lets her vocals lead the track as her confidence and strength shine through in the emotive vocal delivery.
As the track builds, Robinson's voice becomes layered, duplicating her powerful voice like surround sound.
Speaking about her new track, Robinson explains, “Music is best without rules, so I threw the rule book out the window and allowed the music to do what it felt like it needed to do. If you don’t agree, give me three minutes and 27 seconds to 'Change Your Mind’”.
