Watch: LCMDF – Cool and Bored + brand new remix

Le Corps Mince de Françoise (nowadays, more frequently shortened to LCMDF) are Emma and Mia, two sisters from Helsinki who have put together this cracker of a video for forthcoming single ‘Cool and Bored’ – a video that makes you pine for the days of summer holidays, when running around with your chums was by far the most important thing on your day’s agenda.

‘Cool and Bored’ is a multi-lingual, giddy power-pop rocket scripting a girl employing the laid-back, “much too cool for you, fool” attitude when all she really wants to do is tell a boy that she thinks he’s fine. A light, catchy guitar riff and fiery vocals surround a poppy (french) chorus as the accompanying video sees a bunch of hip young things embracing the summertime over what seems to be one pretty hectic day, everything tinged with hazy, classic polaroid hues. The video was directed and shot by the highly talented Megan Cullen.
