Microburst continues his habit of wrenching indie pop into something interesting with this rework of Laurel Collective‘s ‘They Hate Me’. The Spinto Band footstomp of the original is replaced with fluttering, pulse-like vocal snippets and marimba percussion, while insectual synths ebb away intimidatingly in the background.
Check out Microburst’s remix of Talk In Colour here, and join us in hoping for some more solo material soon.
‘They Hate Me’ is out 19 March on Tape Club.
