Kwabs returns with new single "Walk"
Ahead of a Bestival show and October headline slots, South London soul sensation Kwabs has announced a new single for a end of September release.
The hook and swagger-laden “Walk” - a co-write with Johnny Lattimer (Ellie Goulding, Rebecca Ferguson) is, the 24-year old has said, a “statement of intent”.
It’s certainly a more overstated three and a half minutes than we’re used to from the Bermondsey-born boy.
Premiering on MistaJam’s show on BBC Radio 1Xtra earlier this evening, the track gets a release via Atlantic on 29 September; listen below.
Kwabs plays Leeds and Reading next week (22/24 August), Bestival on the 6 September and then shows in Brighton (The Haunt, 11 October), Bristol (Exchange, 12 October) and London (KOKO, 16 October).
