Aside from the fact that the new Kurt Vile album is – according to the man himself – “our (Fleetwood Mac’s) Tusk, but no cheese, just rock” – we don’t know much else about what to expect. Needless to say, we’re getting twitchy just thinking about it and indeed seem to be clutching at just about anything *new* that appears online… like this performance of Dylan’s ‘Knockin On Heaven’s Door’.
The man with the god-like hair played London’s Forum last week and ended his set with a cover of the 1973 classic. Worth watching for the voice box guitar towards the end, Richie Sambora style.
