This Is Head return on May 10 with the first new material since last Spring’s criminally overlooked debut album 0001. Praised by Rich Hughes and awarded a much deserved TLOBF Recommended status, the album was a masterclass in how to take your influences and mould them into something new and forward thinking. Take no heroes, only inspiration – so the saying goes.
‘De Trop’ will be released on 12″ vinyl and comes backed with two remixes of album highlight ’0007′. Here, Korallreven take the track and not so much remix it but morph it into one of their own songs. Using elements of last year’s ‘The Truest Faith’, the resulting track is bathed in that familar rich tapestry of sound that Marcus Joons and Daniel Tjäder are fast becoming renowned for.
