"Don't let outside crap suffocate you cos you're the shit," is how KEYAH/BLU describes the meaning of new track "Choker"
The South East London rapper and member of Denzil Himself's Set Count Worldwide colletcive hard with her debut single "Sweet" late last year. She's carving out rep for innovative bars that loop around fractured, wrong-step sonics and undulating beats.
"Choker" pops and clicks with attitude and punch; woozy pauses punctuate affirmations with bite: "I know I be dope", she snarls with a smile.
