KALLITECHNIS offers up a handful of good vibes with the irresistible "Body & Soul"
After releasing her debut EP last year, KALLITECHNIS has returned with another portion of blissful R'n'B that is full of positivity and was made to soundtrack the good times.
"Body & Soul" melts in with smokey jazz vibes where the Montreal-based artist's voice slinks in with caramel-smooth glossiness. At the heart of it all, it's a freeing track that is powered by a funk-fuelled bassline that encourages you to let go of insecurities and anything that might be holding you back.
Explaining the song's inherently positive vibe, the singer explains "'Body & Soul' is about an unapologetic and uninhibited existence. It’s about not being afraid to feel happy or sad, and not having to justify those emotions to anyone but your(self). For me, that carefree nature comes out in dance, so I hope this song gets people up and moving and feeling good about them(selves)!"
The single is the first peek into what 2018 holds for the artist, which will inevitably be full of more lusciously produced music that will inject a bit of feel-good living into your life.
