Kafka Tamura offer celestial cabaret on dreamy skip-a-beat single "Bones" [Premiere]
Kafka Tamura are sharing their latest sonic gambit "Bones" online through Best Fit.
It follows already-revealed pop gems "No Hope" and "Somewhere Else".
With a skipping, low-swung rhythm, producers Patrick Bongers and Gabriel Hauser have created an otherwordly vibe. "Bones" skirts dreamy, haze-addled pop and faraway dance, creating a kind of cabaret that you'd sooner find in an intergalactic drinking hole than on this mortal plane.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Emma Dawkins said: “It’s almost like being human isn’t enough. We need more, life is fragile and we can’t come to terms with it. The message in the chorus is that we’re sick of being bones, wrapped around bones, and I think that’s true. Bones can break, they are delicate. We want more than we need, and I think that’s the way it will always be.”

"Bones" features on the band's upcoming debut album, which will be released via 100% Records.
