Julia Spada drops super summer jam "Short Love"
New music from Swedish star Julia Spada is about as rare as it comes, so it's time to celebrate her first track in over a year.
"Short Love" is Spada's first piece of new music since the brilliant "You're Mine" and it's a celebration of living in the now, and no-strings holiday relationships.
With a summery synth line which calls to mind TLC's "No Scrubs" and helium-powered vocals equal parts R&B and disco, Spada sings lines like "let's pretend to feel / something that's real" with a breathlessness that only comes from being caught up in the moment. Tracks like this only highlight how much talent Julia Spada has, and once again we're hoping this signals the start of a more prolific period for the Swede.
