If ever a band were set for success from their very first moment, it’d be Juice. With the release of their debut track, they already have an audience under their spell.
“Sugar’s just a dream” is the refrain lulled through the bridge, and indeed, this song does seem to be the stuff dreams are made of. Its bubbling bassline and scorching riffs will waste no time searing themselves into your mind. The track is raw, with a polished edge – it’s bold, it’s brash, it’s beautiful, and entirely impressive even before you learn it’s their first release. Screeching guitars, soaring melodies, and delirium-inducing choruses will leave you feeling dazed, and a little confused, but most of all, in love.
Add a video of sensual colours and kaleidoscopic editing, and you’ll find your first introduction to Juice is nothing short of spectacular.
“Sugar” is available as a limited free download through Juice’s soundcloud.
