The Bolton-based singer/songwriter's latest track explores familial ties and the bond between siblings.
Personable and whimsical with an endearing vocal to match, Janileigh Cohen sits firmly in the nu-folk sphere. Although tender in years, Cohen has a unique gift for storytelling which she uses to delineate the disillusionment, confusion, and joy of life. “Sister”, her latest single, is the perfect example of her continuing growth as a songwriter and hopefully, a strong indication of a more developed sound in the future.
“Sister” is out 29 September.
