The Aussie producer is from the same scene Kllo and Flume but is approaching sonics in a very different way.
Soft sounds and earnest lyrics permeate Jack Grace’s “us”, a fleeting number which nods to Chet Faker and James Blake but is fully immersed in the uptempo syncopations of Chicago juke and elements of R&B. With an EP dropping next year, this is a clear indication of the sort of masterful sonic manipulations we can expect from Jack further down the line.
“us” is out 17 November.
