It ain't rocket science: X&Y's new single is brilliant pop
Pop newcomers X&Y, longtime pals who've joined forces to create soaring pop sounds, have shared a new tune titled "Rocket Science".
Debut offering "This Love" was produced by Secaina Hudson (MNEK), and the trio have worked with Iain James and Adam Argyle on the new noises.
"Rocket Science" uses massive vocal lines and epic Top 40 production styles to carve an explosive chunk of sound - it's big, anthemic, and a confident statement of intent from the Londoners.
The trio are currently slaving away on their debut record, working with Toby Gad (Beyonce, Madonna), Josh Record , Jonny Coffer, The Nexus (Lana Del Rey, Hurts), as well as Until The Ribbon Breaks (who just released an ace new record).
