The London-based singer-songwriter’s wholesome release shows what to expect from forthcoming EP Faze Green.
Since moving to south London to further her musical education, native Northeasterner IMOGEN has made her objective clear: to write affecting and arresting pop music.
She’s not messing about, as latest single "White Lines" shows and she has the ability to formulate a perfect blend of melancholy and underlying warmth within her fragile and uncompromising sound. Lyrically sincere and solemn, the track bares its heart to all who choose to engage, wading deep into the protagonist's emotional state.
This is definitely not a happy song, but it’s a joy to lay ears on. It’s also a very positive indicator of what the artist has in store for her incoming debut EP release Faze Green.
