Icelandidc quintet Mammút, newly signed to Bella Union, are sharing a brand new track from their debut on their new home, the River's End EP.
"Blood Burst" is a shimmering, howling squall of poppy-rock, with crunchy percussion and the thwob of bass guitar. At times it feels like Wolf Alice, with melodic guitars and rough-around-the-edges angst melding together, but just as you think you have it pegged, the track slinks into the undergrowth to become a shadow-lurking beast of echoes.
River's End is out 1 June via Bella Union.
