Sweden's Hater offer escape to a "Mental Haven", announce debut album
Swedish outfit Hater forge an escape from calamity with new single "Mental Haven" - the first track to be taken from their debut album.
In a week of disarray, Hater have carved out a niche of breezy guitars and star-spangled refrains ripe for getting lost in. Melodies shimmer with an enchanting clarity, Caroline Landahl's vocals a firm grip drawing listeners out of chaos and towards something entirely different.
A sweetened daydream crafted with all the shimmering nuances that make imagination so appealing, "Mental Haven" is the breath of fresh air exactly when it's needed. Sure, there are no solutions here, but for three-and-a-half minutes things don't have to feel quite so bad.
The track is the first to be released from Hater's debut album, You Tried.
