Hanne Mjøen talks all things love and fear in vibrant electro-pop anthem “Hell With You”
Lifted from her upcoming EP Emotional Fever, Norway's Hanne Mjøen returns with the vulnerable yet addictive "Hell With You".
In a world of electro, dream pop, Hanne Mjøen’s new single “Hell With You” is sure to set hearts on fire. The latest super-addictive track by the Norwegian artist, “Hell With You” narrates the downfall of a relationship and the fear of never finding love again; painfully relatable, the track is like reading an insert from our own diaries. Speaking on the overall fear of loneliness, the song serves as a friendly reminder that we've all been there before.
Taken from her upcoming EP Emotional Fever, “Hell With You” is a continuation of Mjøen's raw, electro-pop passion. With tender keys and a glaze of echoing synths mixed with shimmering pockets of production, the track build to a heavy chorus of passionate, pulsing chords.
The glossy vocals from Mjøen have the most delicate, soft tone which sit beautifully upon the contrasting production, whilst moments of euphoria in the pre-chorus merge effortlessly into the dramatic drop, while the highly magnetic, oscillating synths will have you hitting the repeat button as soon as it ends.
