Globelamp airs psychedelic new single/video "Controversial/Confrontational"
Globelamp, aka Elizabeth Le Fey, has revealed a new single called "Controversial/Confrontational" from upcoming album The Orange Glow.
Le Fey's latest track arrives following the news that she'd be opening for MOTHERS during their upcoming UK tour. She'll play her debut London headline show on 7 June at Servant's Jazz Quarters.
It's a wild, psychedelic indie-pop offering with echoing layers and fluttering guitars. Le Fey succinctly explains the song: "Betrayal is a topic most people can relate to."
Elva Lexa directs the single's video, which is "inspired by the stark simplicity of Bowie's video for 'Life On Mars?'"
The Orange Glow is out via Wichita on 10 June.
