Listen: George Ezra – “Let it Snow”

19 December 2013, 11:55 | Written by Paul Bridgewater

George Ezra has turned in a more than serviceable cover of the 1945 Sammy Cahn/Jule Styne Christmas classic “Let it Snow” that fits well in the “Christmas covers we’re actually okay with” box. It’ s a rather small box too.

While the song’s been a staple for more than half a century, there have been some execrable covers (no names) and Ezra’s vocal edge does just enough to give us a festive seretonin boost. Listen below.
