Gent Mason’s debut track ‘Eden’ has today been announced as the second release from London label Aesop, following SOHN’s The Wheel.
Mentored by Timbaland, Aaliyah and Justin Timberlake collaborator, Jimmy Douglass, and with his contemporary now signed to 4AD, the single’s B-side, ‘Head’ further bolsters Gent’s credentials as a more than comfortable torchbearer. His love affair with Hip Hop breaks and smooth RnB grooves continues here, with the London native dripping his relaxed vocal over a warm melody of chugging hi-hats, sharp clicks and fuzzy synths.
