Future Jr. unveils ambient, self-assured debut "Suburbia Blue"
Sharing his hopes and dreams through his honest lyricism, Australian singer/songwriter Matt Nainby aka Future Jr. is definitely onto something.
Borrowing for the same rulebook of fellow Australasians like Lorde, Thomston, Vallis Alps and Troye Sivan, singer/songwriter Matt Nainby steps out alone with his own succinct brand of electro-pop.
"Suburbia Blue" as Nainby explains is "all about feeling out of place, figuring out who you really are, and learning to deal with the dreams that feel bigger than you”. The young creative, who honed his craft in his family's Brisbane home, combines his escapist tendencies with swirling synths and a delicate vocal.
Taken from his forthcoming debut EP Vacancy, "Suburbia Blue" serves as an enlightening introduction.
