Future Generations see the light at the end of the tunnel on uplifting new track "Landscape"
The title track from the Brooklyn-based band's second album is a thundering indie-pop bop that drives forward with a relentlessly positive outlook.
Sometimes, life gives you lemons, and to that, Future Generations say take those lemons and move forward - it's going to get better.
"Landscape" sees the band adventure across synth-led melodies and catchy hooks in perfectly uplifting fashion, utilising angular guitar riffs to heighten the feeling of euphoria and ultimately works as a sonic-edged pick-me-up.
Lead singer Eddie Gore acts as a rallying cry for a positive mindset, acting much like that best friend that you can always call on to make you feel better, and it's basically impossible not to smile when the three minute power bop is over.
Speaking on the meaning behind the song, the band say “'Landscape' encompasses the feeling of persevering through those overwhelming parts of your life. It’s an optimistic look at life in general and a recognition that the hard times are what will ultimately mold you into who you really are.”
