Frøkedal continues to impress with another stunning, folk-tinged offering

Although on first listen, "Surfers" lacks the immediacy and solid hooks of "I See You", repeated plays unearth a heavier - emotion laden - offering. Reflecting on the origins of "Surfers", Anne Lise Frøkedal recalls: "It describes feeling stuck and alone, trying to balance unfulfilled expectations with holding on to your dreams".
