Frøkedal continues to impress with another stunning, folk-tinged offering
Ahead of her debut London peformance next week (26 May) and following on from impressive debut offering "I See You", Norwegian newcomer Frøkedal reveals brand new song "Surfers".
Although on first listen, "Surfers" lacks the immediacy and solid hooks of "I See You", repeated plays unearth a heavier - emotion laden - offering. Reflecting on the origins of "Surfers", Anne Lise Frøkedal recalls: "It describes feeling stuck and alone, trying to balance unfulfilled expectations with holding on to your dreams".
