French duo SuperParka get real on airy, late-night opus "Skip"
Parisian alt. pop pair SuperParka have lifted the lid on the atmospheric, animated visuals for debut UK single "Skip".
The track appears on upcoming eight-track mixtape/album Sushi Boubou, which is out 20 April, and sees Paco and Simon (the brains behind SuperParka) fusing downtempo electronics with upbeat bass and remarkably chilled vocals. It's a gorgeous, pensive jam about friendship and the accompanying clip only amplifies the introspection.
SuperParka describe themselves as "two guys who love flying stuff such as Flying Mutant Ninja Turtles or Flying Lotus. We sing about our bros and potential UFO invasions and one could describe us musically as a mix of hip-hop/R&B and stoner. Roughly."
