Foreign Fields launch new video series examining the five stages of grief
Nashville duo Foreign Fields are sharing visuals for new songs "Tangier" and "I Killed You In The Morning" on Best Fit.
The audio-visual twosome are preparing to release the follow up to Anywhere But Where I Am, which came out in 2012. "Making this album marked a shift in our approach with Foreign Fields," the pair say. "While our inspiration had derived heavily in the past from broad natural landscapes and lush dreamy moments this material felt more insular, more direct. We moved our focus away from big, lavish tones into a tighter, more percussive, more constrained sound."
This double video for "Tangier" and "I Killed You In The Morning" is the first in a new series of accompanying visual works created in collaboration with the New York Ballet School, directed by Emmy award winning director Gregory Horoupian, and choreographed by founder of the Indie Ballet Collaborative, Ariel Asch.
Each video centres around the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.
Take Cover is due out on 28 October via Communion.
