"Gated Community" is a super-charged debut single from Eyesore & the Jinx
Liverpool based post-punks Eyesore & The Jinx release their own post-Brexit anthem, "Gated Community".
Against an abrasive garage rock aesthetic, the trio rally against the state of the UK following the decision made on 23rd June 2016 and, as if the references to overtly protecting one’s own and rejecting external influences weren’t enough, the accompanying visuals to "Gated Community" make sure the political stance of Eyesore & The Jinx is abundantly clear.
Speaking on the track, the band have said: "'Gated Community' is an ode to the factions of society that are determined to make the tiny island we dwell on that bit smaller. The enforcers of every arbitrary border."
So far this year, Eyesore & The Jinx have already made their debut at Liverpool Sound City and Smithdown Road Festival, with performances at West Kirby Live and Liverpool Calling still to come.
