Swedish producer Estherlivia recruits Elin Bergman for "If I Ever Feel Again"
18-year-old Swedish producer Estherlivia, aka Esther Österman, teams up with Elin Bergman for electro-R&B gem "If I Ever Feel Again".
Österman has been honing her skills as a producer since the summer of 2012 when she discovered FL Studio. "I just sat down and went in complete nerd-mode until I knew how to make beats," she explains.
"It's my way to set free the emotions that I have no words for," Österman explains of her motivation to make music, but she's not just thinking of herself as she working on her beats and mixes. "I want to prove that women can produce (and only produce) as well. I want to be something new in the music scene."
Österman met Bergman through a friend and they hit it off right away. "It felt so natural to start making music together" she says, "and these days I just call her as soon as I have melody that I want her to sing. It's perfect, she is absolutely one of the best singers I know."
Talking about what we can expect from future Estherlivia releases, Österman is clear: "I always want people to feel stuff. I think that is so important. Happy, sad, whatever - as long as you feel... I like to mix genres, but I am pretty sure that there will always be some hip-hop vibes in the beats that I'm making."
