First appearing online as a demo last year, ESSE’s “Dissolve” finally graces us in its fullest form.
The track - now formally announced as the lead single to be taken from ESSE’s debut EP Deep Heart, due next month - is an enticing dance between glacial synths and skittering percussion. Attracting interest even on the early demo, ESSE’s distinctively husky voice shines in subtle duet with a female vocalist on the chorus, backed by grumbling bass.
With a full EP release lined up fro 31 March, it’s just a case of hanging on until we can hear more from this intriguing new artist.
“Dissolve” is out 3 February and is available to preorder now.
