Teenage vocalist Ella Eyre already has her name on a #1 hit record – Rudimental’s 2013 smash “Waiting All Night” – as well as a slew of plaudits and Sound Of 2014 tips more recently.
Her debut EP is slated for release this Sunday, with the latest teaser “Love Me Like You” drawing on similarly perfumed brass honks and Two Inch Punch’s trademark distorted, chopped-up vocal samples as solo breakout track “Deeper“. As ever though, it’s Ella’s silky smooth delivery that makes this jilted banger tick.
