“Hotly-tipped” just doesn’t quite seem to cut the mustard as a descriptor for soul-pop sensation Ella Eyre.
Having already voiced a number one UK hit (Rudimental’s “Waiting All Night”), the youngster is readying her own assault on the charts, starting with “Deeper”.
Adding Two Inch Punch to an already stellar list of collaborators, producers and co-writers, Ella’s diverse pipes – which catapult from smoky whisper to rich, glossy croon in an instant – are at the forefront of the London maximalist’s pugilistic, hook-stuffed mix. Never mind deeper, the only way is up for young Ella.
The track will appear on the Deeper EP, due to drop on 22 December.
