"Temporary" is an enchanting new track from Seattle-based avant-garde pop duo FKL.
Esoteric ambience and UK garage beats seep into FKL' full-bodied pop sound on "Temporary", which melts together seemingly disparates strains of noise into one alluring concoction. It's rhythm rich and throbbing with club charm - this isn't a track for staying still to.
FKL (formerly Funktionslust, which means "deriving pleasure in creating something") are transatlantic twosome Joe Gillick and Sage Redman, who met while studying at London's Goldsmiths University and recently relocated to Seattle after battling with visa authorities.
FKL will release debut record Out Of Tune via their own Orphan Records on 3 November.
