Dutch producer David Douglas reveals "Highway Of Love", the new single from upcoming record Spectators Of The Universe.
Douglas is "inspired by the astrological writings of his 18th Century namesake" and fuses celestial synthery with a kind of enchanting noise that whisks you away into other dimensions. "Highway Of Love" is rammed with addictive grooves, but it's also fractured and peppered with mayhem - Douglas manages to make the electronic melee simply stunning, and despite the complexity, it feels loose and natural.
Douglas will play a bunch of dates in Europe, including one at London's Moth Club next moth. Find out more.
