Listen: Druid Cloak – The Poultice

Translating directly from Latin as ‘porridge’, a poultice is a moist spread used for dressing wounds. And in the case of North American producer Druid Cloak, it’s a pretty apt delineation.

‘The Poultice’, streaming via Abeano, is the first full cut from Druid’s next EP, Bastion Of The Sterling Thrones. Sticking with the archaic feel, the tune creeps along to primitive thumps and gloopy synthesizers, eventually lurching into the 21st century with the addition of seeping, honeyed vocals.
