Free Download: Oh! Canada at The Great Escape 2015
When The Great Escape was founded 10 years ago, Canada was chosen to be the first focus country for the festival. It was the start of a long relationship that has seen a vast number of Canadian artists head over to the festival. This year will be no different, with 25 acts making the journey across the Atlantic to perform down by the sea in Brighton.
As ever, Canadian Blast will be hosting a series of day shows this year. After the closure of The Blind Tiger Club, Canada House this year moves to The Green Door Store, where once again Ontario, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia will be presenting the best their provinces have to offer. Meanwhile M for Montreal will be celebrating their own 10th Anniversary with a showcase at Komedia Studio Bar.
To get you better acquainted with the acts, or to allow those not attending The Great Escape to make their own discoveries, we are pleased to offer a special Great Escape edition of Oh! Canada.
Our thanks to all those who have given their tracks for inclusion in this compilation. You can find out details about all 45 shows by Canadian artists after the playlist.

Oh! Canada at The Great Escape 2015 is dedicated to the memory of Derek Bachman, the former head of SaskMusic, who passed away late last year. Derek was a wonderful person who worked tirelessly to promote music of all kinds. His presence will be very greatly missed this weekend, and always. Thank you Derek.
