Download: New Noise Podcast (Record Store Day 2012 Special)
One of our favourite days of the year is Record Store Day, it’s just like all those other idle Saturdays spent rummaging through vinyl but with an actual excuse and purpose.
The event occurs this time round this coming Sat (April 21) and to get you in the mood, we thought we’d bring you something that combines this with one of our fave ever podcasts – New Noise by the ever brilliant Jon Hillcock.
This month’s offering is a Record Store Day 2012 Special and sees Jon have a bit of a natter with Rough Trade East boss, Spencer Hickman. The playlist features some of Spencer’s most cherished tracks and a few of this year’s RSD releases thrown in for good measure.
Listen to the podcast embedded below, or download from the New Noise website.
You can also read our interview with Jon on last year’s Record Store Day right over here.
