Following-up a special debut is never easy, but PMR Records newcomer Dornik has managed it with quite effortless poise, hinting at something pretty stunning in the New Year.
This summer’s “Something About You” introduced us to the MJ-inspired Londoner; with its luscious production and intensely smooth flow it propelled him alongside the likes of international RnB peers Frank Ocean and Miguel. This new track ups the ante, thanks to it’s infectious, metronomic rhythm, intricate progressions and a chromatic vocal hue that wholly deserves to infiltrate the mainstream.
A full-length is expected early 2014, and if “Rebound” is anything to go by then Dornik is set to follow the wonderful example set by his high-flying label-mates.
