Dewy Sinatra rails against modern politicians in fired-up new single "No War" [Premiere]
Dewy Sinatra is angry. Not Hulk angry, but still, he's pretty pissed off.
New song "No War" sees Sinatra's normally tempered tones addled by a frustration. It's interspersed with samples of David Cameron and his Westerminster minions, as well as a variety of bench-warmining cronies, which fit perfectly against Sinatra's solemn march. Is is a rallying cry or a screech of frustration? Either way Sinatra's clearly at the end of his tether with the higher ups' constant fuck-uppery of society.
The beats plod with bleary-eyed duty, the low rumbling of bass filling the gaps, the synth accents punctuating Sinatra's spiel - it's simple production, but under his charged words, it's oh-so-effective.
It's a potent contrast against the insomniac tones of "Bubble", and together they paint an exciting picture of Sinatra's future sound.
