With a UK tour due in July following the release of their new album Codes and Keys, Death Cab For Cutie have clearly established their return. The quartet’s brand new track ‘You Are A Tourist’ premiered last night on Zane Lowe’s show and is available to stream below. A typically crisp, slightly sparse, ambient pop number the latest effort from the Washington quartet sees infectious guitar hooks ring out over subtly anthemic melodies and typically brooding lyrics.
On April 5, the Tim Nackashi directed video for ‘You Are A Tourist’ will be the first ever live, scripted and single-take music video to be broadcast as it’s filmed so don’t forget to check that out here at midnight that day.
