Cosima offers up huge Cocteau Twins vibes on "Girls Who Get Ready"
Peckham-based singer/songwriter Cosima has shared the marvellous "Girls Who Get Ready" just in time for the weekend.
This is Cosima's second track following the phenomenal "Had To Feel Something" from back in July.
"Girls Who Get Ready" is fantastic, with beguiling Cocteau Twins-style synths and harmonies gelling together with classic R&B production. It's luxuriously smooth and slips around your body like incense smoke. Cosima continues to stun.
“I wanted to express the insecurity I was feeling,” says Cosima of the heady jam. “But I also wanted to celebrate a self improvement that doesn't bleed into self destruction.”
