London production team Cloud Boat are sharing "Man Of War", the title track from their upcoming EP and remix collection.
This single is shrouded in shadows, with the clarion vocals eventually being swallowed whole by malicious bass and seismic synth shifts. Texture and structure are key players in the success of "Man Of War", which rises from James Blake-y smoothness to an anxious melee crammed with detail and noise.
The Man Of War EP is due out 14 October, with the remix collection arriving 28 October. The short-player was written and recorded in Seven Sisters, with James Kelly of WIFE/Altar Of Plagues adding additional production.
