Download a free David Lynch-produced track from Chrysta Bell
You might remember Chrysta Bell from the video that dropped a year or so back, showing the David Lynch-endorsed singer and model performing in a visual (and against an audio) that positively dripped with Lynchian vibes.
Bell began her singing career as a vocalist for Texan swing band Eight and a Half Souvenirs and the Blue Velvet-director’s involvement with her dates back to the soundtrack for 2006′s Inland Empire, where she performed the haunting ‘Polish Poem’. The culmination of their work to date is last year’s debut long-player This Train, produced by Lynch.
As his latest muse, Bell embodies an aesthetic that’s come to typify the director’s latter work: a dark, unsettling sensuality and mysterious vulnerability. It’s the same ground tapped by LDR‘s people but Lynch can claim to have got there first. ” looks like a dream and sings like a dream. And the dream is coming true,” he has said.
Bell hits UK shores next month for a series of live dates (below) and ahead of those shows you can download last year’s track ‘Real Love’ for free below.
