Cheatahs, the British-based but internationally comprised group, have returned with their newest turbulent shoegaze release, ‘Cut the Grass’.
‘Cut the Grass’ is an impossibly tempestuous track filled with chaotic lo-fi guitars, and Horrors-esque electronics which glue to the echoey, psychedelic vocals to create a rollercoaster of sound. The commotion is truly infectious, with the guitar acting as the bedrock of the melody, luring you in. Simultaneously, the vintage synth adds delicacy; a state of euphoria floating over the ruthless chord changes on guitar and the persistent drums.
‘Cut The Grass’ is out on 13 October via Wichita Recordings.
